Course Description: Selected mathematics
topics are explored. Topics include basic concepts of algebra, linear
and quadratic equations, ratio, proportion, variation, polynomials, factoring,
exponents, scientific notation, rectangular coordinate systems, lines,
their slopes, and equations, systems of equations, linear programming,
geometry, coning methods, probability, statistics, and consumer mathematics.
Prerequisites: None
Format & Technology The course will consist of lectures, class discussions, demonstrations, and working out exercise in class by students. Students are expected to complete their reading and homework assignments.
