Course Description:

            This course is designed to introduce students to a statistics environment. Students will learn how to run and analyze their data from the science lab through the Excel program.  They will explore both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.  More specifically, mean, standard deviation, histogram, line graph, linear regression, z-test and t-test will be introduced.  By the end of course, they will be able to conduct a simple data analysis for their science projects.

Course Requirements and Evaluation Procedures:

 

A final PowerPoint presentation on the science laboratory is required.
