PowerPoint Chapter 2
Creating a Presentation with Illustrations and Shapes

I. Click Start / All Programs / Microsoft Office / PowerPoint
   Display a new blank document in the PowerPoint Window.

II. Type the following four slides.
     1. Move from one slide to the next slide.  You click the New Slide button.
     2. Move from title box to content box.  You press CTRL + ENTER.
     3. Italicize the word, inside, in the slide two.

III. Choose a Background Style
      1. Click Design / Choose one of the Background as below to apply to all slides.
      2. Save your file as "Identity Theft" in your USB flash drive.
      3. Change the view to slide sorter view and change the view back to normal view .

IV Change the Slide Layout to Two Contents
     1. Click on Slide 2 / Home / Layout / Two Content
     2. Do the same job to Slide 3.

     3. Apply "Picture with Caption" layout for Slide 4.

    4. Click on Slide 2 / Clip Art button /
        Do the similar job for slide 3.

  5. Download the picture and save it as ATM.jpg in your USB flash drive.
     Click on Slide 4 / Insert File ATM.jpg.

 6. You need to know how to resize pictures or move them to other places.

 V. Format Title Text Using Quick Styles

    1. Click the title text box of slide 2 / Home / Quick Styles / the one of 4 x 7 as below

    2. Triple-click the title text box of slide 2 / change font into "Cambria". and font color to dark red color.
        Similar to slide 3 and slide 4.

    3. Move the text below the picture on slide 4.  Change the font size 32 and 24 to title and subtitle.

    4. Title of slide 1:     80 for font size;    dark red color.

    5. Add a shape on slide 1.

Resize it.

    6. Add  Text to the shape.  While the banner is selected, type "Reduce Your Risk of Identity Theft ".
       
Choose the same format from Shape Quick Style as before.

VI Add a transition between slides

    Click the Animations tab and try any button you like

Do the slide show and save the file.
