Using the Outline Tab and Clip Art to Create a Slide Show
1. Open PowerPoint software.
2. Choose the Axis template.
3. Click Outline tab.

Click View / Toolbars / Outlining
5. Apply Promote button
and Demote
button
to type the following 5
slides: Shift +ENTER is a soft return
for moving the following first statement to the second statement.



6. Use Slide
Sorter View,
at left bottom
window to locate the second slide.
7. Change the view to Normal View,
at left bottom window.
8. Click Format / Slide Layout
Choose Title, Text, and Content
Click on "Insert Clip Art"

Type
food and click Go. Click
and OK. You can resize it or move
the picture.
11. Go to slide 3.
Click Format / Slide Layout.
Choose the
Title, 2 Content and Text slide layout.
Insert Clip Art:
TOP: search from "woman"
You can resize it or move the picture.
BOTTOM: search from "flowers"
You can resize it or move the picture.
12. Go to slide 4.
Click Tools / AutoCorrect Option /
AutoFormat As You Type / Automatic layout for inserted objects in the Apply as
you work area.
Click
from
(Drawing toolbar)
Search for "house"
and insert it.
Drag the picture to upper-right
corner of the slide.
13. Go to slide 5.
Do the same steps as last slide.
Search for "stethoscope"
and insert it.
Drag the picture to lower-right
corner of the slide.
14. Add Headers & Footers on Notes
and Handouts Sheet (Purpose: distribute the outlines to audience)
Click Apply to
All after you type information in.
15. Add an Animation Scheme to a
Slide Show
close
16. Add Animation Effects to Clip
Art
Right-Click the picture on slide 5.
Click Custom
Animation
Click Add Effect /
Entrance / Diamond /Close
17. Move your cursor to the first
slide and start to run the slide show.
18. Print Preview the Outline.
