Computer Hardware

The equipment associated with a computer system is called hardware.
    (that is, machine itself)

    - Input Device:  Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, Microphone, Camera, ... etc.
    - Output Device: Printer, Monitor, Speaker, ... etc.
    - CPU
    - Memory
    - Secondary Storage

Computer Software

It is a series of step-by-step instructions that directs the computer turn data into information.
The software is a set of statements or sentences that direct the computer hardware what to do.

    - System Software:  Operating System, Windows 7, XP, UNIX, Apple Mac OS, ... etc.
        * Manage the computer resources.
    - Application Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, GIS, ... etc.
        * Do real life work.
